The Courts is The Cedars' new assisted living facility designed
to accommodate the physical and emotional needs of residents
who need some assistance, but who want to remain independent
for as long as possible.
The three-story unit is conveniently connected to the HealthCare
Center.
But perhaps it's the extras that make The Courts a special
place to live – the "neighborhoods" ... the
ice cream socials ... the caring residents show each other
day after day ... and much more.

Who is Eligible
Those eligible for The Courts must be at least 60 years of
age whose physical, mental and psychosocial needs can be met
by our services and accommodations. All must be able to transport
themselves to the dining room, even if by wheelchair. For
details on eligibility, please see page 7 of The Courts’

Accommodations
“Neighborhoods,” clusters of eight apartments around
commons areas, foster a sense of community and belonging, and
provide a comfortable place for socializing.
- Twelve
studio apartments with 475 square feet
- Six deluxe studios with 520 square feet
- Thirty one-bedroom units with 605 square feet
- Two one-bedroom deluxe apartments with 710 square feet
– and a "view"
- Small kitchenette
- One bath
- Porch or patio
- Wheelchair-accessible
- Emergency response system
- Cable TV at no extra charge
- Private phone outlets
- Storage space for each unit
- Decorated with each resident's own furnishings and memorabilia

- Weekly laundry of flat linens
- Routine maintenance and repair
- Transportation to health care and other appointments
- Certified provider of Home and Community-Based Services
- Dementia care in the Family

Fee
A monthly fee includes rent and basic services listed above.
An additional fee is charged for any other services.

Waiting List
If you think you want to move into a Courts apartment at
a later date, please consider placing your name on the waiting
list now. You will be contacted when an opening is available.
If you're not ready to move at that time, your name will retain
its place on the list. In doing so, you can avoid or minimize
the wait when you're ready to move.

Continuum of Care
Once you're a resident of The Cedars, you will have a place
to live for the rest of your life. When you need another level
of care, you will have priority in moving to other areas.
