Both our north and south neighborhoods in the health care center, as well as our assisted living building, contain several rooms allocated to caring for those dealing with dementia. In The Courts, our Family Care wing is equipped to care not only for the resident, but for their spouse as well, enabling a couple to remain together as they work through this time. Regardless of where our residents are living on campus, they will continue to have full access to all of the amenities and services available to any other resident of The Cedars. All of our staff continue to receive special and on-going training for how best to work with residents in a memory care setting, much of which is made possible by an endowed fund for continuing education.
