For those who need help with daily living activities ... for those who are confused by dementia ... for those needing an even higher level of care ... there is The Cedars HealthCare Center.

It is care on many levels ... defined by the needs of the residents. The result is a ratio of four staff members for every 14 residents.

It is quality care, as reflected in our Clinical Care and Pain Management awards for exceptional health care practices.

It is security and a sense of belonging fostered by small, intimate "neighborhoods" within the center. Each contains several care levels and its own nursing staff, dining room and manager. Neighborhood residents plan their own activities and outings. (Read more about person-centered care. [.doc, pdf] )

Take a Tour

Welcome to Our Neighborhood!

Our HealthCare Center residents live in "neighborhoods" where small groups of rooms are centered around their own social areas, dining rooms and even staff! To everyone — even families — it means deeper, more meaningful relationships among all.

Person-Centered Care

It's putting the residents and their wishes above convenience and schedules. It's giving our residents choices and control over their daily routine — deciding when and what to eat ... choosing their own clothing ... deciding when to participate in activities ... and sleeping as late as they want.

Families of Residents
Comment:

"This is a wonderful place. The staff treats him so well ... like he was their grandfather. They make us feel like part of a family. It's like home."

"Thank you so very much for your love and patience with A.K. while he was a resident there. He had a long stay, just two months short of seven years. When you said, 'A.K. can go wherever he wants to go,' it made me feel so good, and I felt you cared. How wonderful! I can’t thank you enough. God bless you!”

"I want to thank you for all the attention you gave to my dad. The decision to put Dad in a home was not easy. We were second guessing ourselves after our experience with the first place. But your soft touch and kind touch assured us that we did the right thing."

"I would like to thank the staff at The Cedars for the loving care you gave to my father. The Cedars stands and shines. Thank you!"
