ASSISTED LIVING
The Courts
If you can take care of yourself but need some assistance,
you may be eligible for the assisted living apartments in
The Cedars' three-story facility. The accommodations,
services and activities – right down to the ice cream
socials – all work together to help you stay independent
as long as possible.

HEALTH CARE
HealthCare Center
 Medicare-
and Medicaid-certified, this licensed skilled nursing
facility offers person-centered care with "neighborhoods"
and stand-alone houses. It serves those who need help with daily living activities
... those who are confused by dementia (see Dementia
Care below) ... and those who need an even higher level
of care. This resident- and family-friendly unit offers a
staff/resident ratio that exceeds state standards.

DEMENTIA CARE

Coughenour-Lancaster Special Care Center
 A
part of the HealthCare Center, this facility offers a supportive,
secure environment for those whose emotional and social needs
outweigh physical needs. Residents may decorate their own
private rooms.

Family Care Center
This unit, located in the Assisted Living Center, allows
couples to live together when one is affected by dementia. The
eight units, based on the neighborhood concept, are centered
around a commons area for dining and socializing.
