At no charge, The Cedars will ...

  • Do yard work ... mowing, trimming, pruning, watering, spraying

  • Keep appliances in top working condition

  • Replace light bulbs

  • Change furnace filters

  • Fix your furnace ... even in the middle of the night!

  • "Do windows" – outside, that is

  • Take your TV in for repair

  • Program your TV and VCR

  • Hang pictures

  • Haul off trash

  • Assemble furniture

  • Deliver mail to your door in the winter when it's icy

  • Check on your home, if requested, when you're out of town

Special for Village residents

You also may receive care in the HealthCare Center for a number of days at no extra cost if you are recuperating from surgery or need rehabilitation before returning home.

Activities

Village residents are an active bunch, planning monthly luncheons, exercise groups, club meetings, china painting classes and much more. Something is always happening. It's just a matter of deciding how extensively you wish to participate.

You Have a Voice

Village residents elect members to a Residents' Council that has input on facilities, services, policies and procedures affecting The Village. Resident "observers" attend Board of Trustees meetings and have the opportunity to make comments.

The life lease for your unit is purchased ... with a refund given when you leave.
